I know broke his heel last year but I thought he recovered, he seems like he's training and taking things serious check out this article regarding his program with Brock Tickle Izzi and Tickle training Article Source www.racerxvt.com
He's on aStar Racing Yamaha so factory supported team.

What gives he's a podium guy? Any insight?

I think I heard on DMXS last week, that he'll start training with Robb Beams at MotoE. I thought it was strange that they only mentioned it and didn't discuss it further.

starting to train with Rob Beams, so all these videos on how hard training was with his previous trainer, and how fit he was an all?

Weird, huh? Maybe I should check if I heard correctly. But if it's true, perhaps they trained too hard? Doesn't seem to bother Tickle though..

That injury takes like a year to heal because of the lack of blood flow. Ferry tried to come back too early a suffered, Izzy will be doing the same and need more time off. Remember Jeff Alessi? he has the same injury and was out of action for over a year!
He's just not healthy yet. He may say he is but he walks with a gnarly limp.
