Hi guys !
Just registerd on here figured id tell a ?good? hughes story from when he was visiting Sweden to race one of the swedish championship races. (yeah, weird, I know!)

Anyways i was wrenching for a top10 guy and ryno was on a stock KTM 125 if i remember correctly. so i was standing in the pits for the first "mx2" race and he got a crappy start but laped as 2'nd and by the time the first heat was done he laped all the way up to fifth or something, pulled in to the "park fermè" took off his helmet and without a single drop of sweat he said: "What a f*****g Chicken Race". And walked to the pits. Heat two was a replay except for the crappy start, laping up to top 3 i think.

"To make a long story short"

Thing is in sweden at this time we has something called "super final" wich ment that the top 15 from both Mx2 and Mx1 raced for a couple of extra pts. after the usual 2 motos each.
He would have lapped 2'nd place Johnny linde (ex top5 mx1 GP rider) if it wherent for a flat rear tire, he ended up 2'nd in the Supie with a stock 125cc(KTM) in a heeeavvy euro sand track in the south of sweden.
Think this was in 05 or even 03-04.

Just wanted to share that "little" story, every time i see ryno on tv or read about him i think of that "F******g Chicken Race" in southern sweden
