I am sorry. This won't make me popular. But what started out as a super legit show has just gotten out of control. I know I will be labeled as a jerk and all. And I am not Dave from Australia. I don't know? Maybe I am just getting too old or something. Like "Dick" I mean "Rich" the Saturday school teacher on The Breakfast Club.

If you can't see it then I can't teach you. Don't misunderstand this post. I don't mean to personaly slam anyone. I just think that the show was way better in the beginning of the season. Just more structured, moved along better. This isn't a Paul vs KW post. I realise I may be in the vocal minority. But I think a lot of people feel this way. They won't say anything for fear of becoming a negative focal point like Dave from Australia. Just sayin.
Also if you want to make a little more money to support the show and replace KW's headphones start charging hasbeen every time he calls.

Thanks for listening to the show and you're right, the show has changed since the
beginning. Paul and I agreed on a format before we started and then once we got going
I just didn't think it was working. He agreed with that. The loss of a major sponsor
didn't help things because we couldn't get Paul here in-studio.
I really like the show now and am having more fun doing it. The way that Paul and IO
first started doing them was fine also, but I didn't think we'd be able to keep listeneres.
And after all, that is the name of the game right?
Honestly, like you said, you are in the minority. The numbers have been growing, the emails
have been coming in and the response in the pits has been good. I don't think calling out a guy from Australia by his first name is anything. No one knows who he is, probably not
even his buddies. Has-Been is our regular caller, gotta love that. People on the chat room have even joined in on the fun.
Sorry you feel this way, stick it out and we'll find a balance between what you like and
what we have been doing.

40 Plus it's definitely different, but as Steve says it's changing shape. I just put my opinion out and so be it. I actually couldn't stop laughing at the reactions, classic. It is my name Steve and I didn't mind being called out. As I said it was just feedback because I like listening to what you do.

The show is awesome. The only thing what bothers me a bit is, that you keep interrupting each other. The show can be hard to follow when you do that.

Steve and Co., keep doing what you are doing, I am a new fan. So much so that I purchased an iPod to make it easier to download the shows from iTunes. I have been listening to the shows on my way to and from work every single day for the past 2 months. I have even gone back into the Racer X archives to listen to some older interviews. Steve, you really have some classic interviews that are well done, make sure that you continue to make them accessable.
I only have two suggestions. 1. Please put ALL of your shows on iTunes and 2. For us Newbies, can you spell out the Steve Matthes brand? The podcasts seem to be spreadout under multiple names. This is okay, but it would help to understand the logic.

Thanks for listening, I appreciate it. My new deal with Transworld was that I own
all the shows because I was starting to have shit everywhere.
All my shows should be on iTunes..search "Steve Matthes" on there and you'll find
the Racer X Canada live and uncensored ones, then I moved to Racer X USA and did all those
ones until Jan 1 2010. They aren't under my name anymore so search Racer X.
Then there's the TWMX ones under "The Steve Matthes" show from Jan 1 till now and
of course, the Pulpmx show (used to be moto show) and those ones are in one spot.
Now that I type it out, it is a little nuts.
Stay tuned for an all new Pulpmx.com with some exciting features.

Yeah dude I have been listening to you since the very first Racer X Canada. They are great for when I am working on my bikes in the garage or commuting. I never miss a podcast or a show. Thanks again.
P.S. KW seemed a little more under control this week and made the show flow better. I know he takes this stuff to heart and has admitted to trying to always improve considering constructive criticism.

personally, i think the show is about as good as it going to get. great interviews (thanks for all those pushy questions), great host, great site. after finding this site, i found your old bottom line episodes, and was stoked and i heard that was coming back. hope to see you at pala if your there, way to close to me to miss out on that.

Personally I think Kenny was a prick when talking to Paul Lyndsay on the show last week. He's like a kid. Like I said, he aint on the same level as any other show's hosts.

I love the show. It's got a good balance of everything. Kenny's stories are classic and he's not afraid to tell it like it is. Same with you Steve, you have an opinion, and you don't shy away from it like a lot of people in the industry do. I think a lot of the riders take criticism to heart when they shouldn't. But, welcome to becoming a "Professional Athlete". The show with Paul was just way to dry and serious. I like the more laid back approach to it.

I've never called in, and never listened to the show, but I think it's perfect and wouldn't change a thing. 
Really though, when I need a good laugh, I re-listen to the Mark Pellegrino episode.
Watson is fine. The guy is moto through and through, and his thing with Euros......people take what he says way too serious. OK, so maybe he says a few things here and there in bad taste in a few peoples opinions like the Roczen thing, but it doesn't take much smarts to see he's not serious.
I think Watson is pretty honest about a lot of things, and people want to hear what they want to hear, not the truth.
Is he gonna stick up for Hanny? Sure. He's known the kid forever.
I think the show is what this industry has needed for 10 years.....it's a perfect blend from 2 different views(Media, and Team Manager)
Pings views are getting better too not that he is semi-out of the industry, but like he said, if he can make a joke of something, he's gonna do it. He gets the same Rath as Watson when he says things people don't want to hear as well, but as a fan, I want to hear it.
It's also great entertainment and comedy.
