The MotoShow Bonus question

Hi, Sorry if this is the wrong place for this. I have a question about the bonus question on this weeks show.
Paul asked who was the only rider to win a race in the premier class, while moonlighting from the 125 class? I remember Kevin Windham being the first to do it and I think it was at Charlotte motor speedway I think. For some reason though, I swear I remember John Dowd doing this also. I think he did it maybe 2 or 3 years after Kevin did. I have asked some of my buddys, but they do not even remember Kevin getting his win.
Could someone please help me out and let me know if Dowd did get a win also or not please. This question is driving me crazy.

I am 99% sure that dowd was a 125 rider when he won the 250 race.
I only asked this question, cause Paul said who is the ONLY rider to win a 250 main event, while moonlighting from the 125 class. When there is actually 2 riders that have done it, with Windham and Dowd and they were both on Yamahas.
I think Paul asked for the last guy to place on the podium while moonlighting in the 450 class and for some reason he counted J-Law as the answer when Jason had actually given up on the 250' at that point. So the real right answer is Dungey, Minny 08.
KW and Dowd did do it although I can't remember if JYD was a 125 rider that year or not.
