yes and the Twitter wrestling war is now also getting Beeker, Matthes and Red Dog pumped up. Steve and Ferry are really pissed at what RC said on the TV show Legends of SX about the 2003 SLC race. Beeker being the voice of RC on Twitter for that one.

Jake didn't go back and delete his tweet though (like Josh Grant, who said the same thing about RC during the Indy SX, did). When an unhappy RC tweeted him back, Weimer replied back:

@RickyCarmichael I have alot of respect for what both of u have done there is no denying that. I'm jus saying it's very clear watching speed who you are pulling for.

To what JG33 commented:

RC truly was an awesome rider. But it seems that he also is "just a human" who's having hard time taking critique.

Is it so wrong for the Goat to pull for Dungey and speak highly of him on the broadcast? Carmichael is a color commentator. He is supposed to voice his opinions and feelings. While he may have gone a little overboard, is it really that big of a deal? The cameras were on Dungey and he was simply stating what he felt about Dungey. I THINK that Weimer and Grant were probably a little bit jealous that Carmichael wasn't saying anything about them. That is just my opinion and I may be completely wrong.

While it might be unprofessional for RC or another commentator to have strong opinions one way or another about specific rider, ultimately he really isn't a professional commentator, he is there because he is the "GOAT" and he is keeping in the public eye to promote his image and SPEED use having him on the show as a promotional device for SX and Wind Tunnel (which RC did the next day), he will make mistakes. More importantly which hasn't been discussed is the "digital" courage that Jake busted out with. You see this type of behavior in forums or if someone has sent a drunk or angry email. But for a pro rider using twitter to promote himself, I think this was pretty interesting that Jake got a little loose with the QUERTY key pad. I thought the rule of thumb was if you couldn't say it in person then don't push the send button. Wonder if the conversation stayed online or if RC called PC on Monday asking Mitch to send a special message to the #12.
