Hey if anybody (like Shenzi or Matthes for example) are at the trade show. Please post some photo's of anything cool or interesting that is coming down the pipe for 2011. Talon Vohland mentioned in his podcast that the new Scott gear is going to be great. Keep us up to date between pimping your wares and boozing at night. Have a good trade show.

Yo mate, yes for sure, I will post some pics after I tour the show a bit this evening and tomorrow. I have added an FB album but it's not the really cool stuff, just some behind-the-scene pics.

Cool pic's guys thx for sharing, what was the vibe like at the trade show? Better than last year, would you go as far to say "optimistic", I hope things have picked up for the industry.

I would say it could be considered 'optimistic', people who came were upbeat and came with a purpose. There were overall less dealers visiting than last year, especially on Sunday, but I think that the visitors were of better quality than in previous years, they were there to buy. So dealerships didn't send 3 or 4 guys who had no decision-making power like it often happened in previous years; this time around it's the decision-maker who came, so purchase orders were better.

Rumors were that next year the Indy SX will take place at the same time as the show. Good or not good for the show itself, I am not sure. It definitely is going to be a mess in Indy if it's true. I think we'll see more dealers than this year but what will be the ratio of those coming for a free SX ticket and those really coming for business, not sure.

I heard the same rumor about coinciding with the SX, and I agree about the "quality" of people there. Those that came were there to get something done. Except for the young children - didn't there used to be a rule against strollers? Screaming babies was new experience for me at the show.
