Bitter Ben Townly

I say bitter with a sort of appreciation and admiration. Reminescent of a Bob Hannah/Bradshaw sort of attitude. Rides better when he holds a grudge sort of thing.
Dude seems to be pissed about his results all the time, wanting more. Hes pissed when there is a dangerous obstacle at a track(Glen Helen). Hes pissed when other riders ride agressive with him and then he retaliates with gusto!(Allessi GH). I thought I read over at Vital where Steve posted that Ben doesnt like him for some negative things( in Bens mind) that Steve wrote about him. So hes bitter towards journalists.
Hes probably hates the bend of handlebar that ate his intestines a while back too.
Love Bens competitive nature and will to win! I predict that guy will bitter himself to some overalls before the year is out, sign a deal with a major team and contend for the championship next year from the get go.
Keep it up Ben, I'm becoming more of a fan every week.

TWO crashes in moto one this weekend! How was Ben feeling after that? Well during the moto 2 broadcast we hear Bailey say, "Townley was pretty peaved between motos". Towit Weege responds with a "Uhhh, YEAH!"
Ben, now more peaved than bitter, uses his first moto falls to motivate himself to a 2nd! place ride in moto two. Nice!
My only problem is that Ben seemed happy to get second...thats not good...I want Ben pissed at all times till he gets a win. Bitter, negative...abuseing his team manager, screaming down journalists...whatever it takes.
Townley will win the Dilla, you heard it here first.

I like the idea of Townley but the reality is that some riders just prove to be fragile and have difficulty sealing the deal, look at Tortelli great, super nice guy amazing rider but broken more often than not. I hope he proves me wrong and wins, the years he battle with RV was great racing, he was super fast.

Im bitter and pissed off after that first moto at Red Budd. What a fighter ben is...he wanted that win, unfortunatly he spent himself in that first moto and had nothing for the "Dungenator" in the second moto.
Its all about Milville.
Fuel pump goes out in moto one at buds creek....I can just picture Ping running for cover as BT sputters back into the pits bitter and pissed off.
With the right attitude firmly inplace, Ben valiantly battles to the death with Josh Grant in moto two and comes out on top!
A moto win is just around the corner friends.
