One of the things we’re doing this year is asking the riders and teams to use bigger numbers (5 1/2”) on their side panels when they do not have a sponsor to show off (and in that case, 4” is now the minimum height).

Then below is a link to SlaterSkins

Rhino Skins tried to do this back in the 90's, and now Slater Skins is back. Do you think they will catch on this time? Rhino skins I believe were made of fiber glass, so they were very heavy and I think that outside sponsorship was just gaining traction so that idea was just a little early for people to accept it. Now in the world of outside sponsors (Toyota, Jägermeister, Red Bull, Monster, etc) and factory supported teams, does this idea now have the legs it need to gain traction and be an acceptable product? What's your opinion on this.

PR From Slater Skins:

Slater Skins are clearly the catalyst for a Corporate Sponsor as seen above the stock bike has no room for sponsors.
With the Explosion of the Motocross World Corporate Sponsors are finding their way over from the NASCAR World. It Cost close to 30 million to sponsor a Nascar Team compared to 1 to 5 million for a Motocross Team.
The Motocross Demographics are perfect ranging from 5 years old to 70 year olds covering men, women and children.
These Demographics are perfect for Corporate Sponsors looking for that marketing target which is just about every Corporate Company.
